The Sacramento class meets on Friday night at 7:30 There are a couple of teachers: Peggy Hamilton, Lynn Lockwood, and Sandra Kesler. Lynne also teaches the children's class on Saturday at 10:30.

Scottish Highland Dance class for teenagers and adults located in Palo Alto, Thursday evenings from 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm. Cost is $30 per semester and class is open to male and female dancers, beginners, intermediates and advanced level dancers. No previous dance experience required, primary focus of the class is Highland Dance for performance purposes, but performing is not mandatory, you are welcome to take the class for the fun and exercise aspects of it. Linda Preston - International Academy of Dance is located at 5400 Scotts Valley Drive in Scotts Valley (upstairs, next to the Quik Stop).  You can get more details and a full schedule of the various classes that IAD offers on their web site: I A Dance.
Linda Preston teaches classes in Irish step dancing on Tuesday evenings at The International Academy of Dance in the Kirby School, 425 Encinal St. in Santa Cruz. Children’s class is from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. Adults/teens meet from 7pm to 8pm. For further info call (831) 438-7543.

IRISH STEP DANCE CLASSES IN CAPITOLA - This fall, Valerie Deam of the McGrath Irish Dancers will be teaching Irish step dancing in Capitola. This is a great opportunity to learn Irish dancing in the Santa Cruz area from one of the best teachers around. The classes will be held throughout the summer. If there is enough interest, Valerie will continue the classes in the fall. LOCATION: Capitola DanceCenter, 1550 41st Avenue, Capitola (next to the Goodwill store behind Big 5)
DATES: Sundays starting September 21 - TIME: 3:00-5:00
COST: $20.00 for Valerie plus a portion of the studio rental. The studio rental is $20/hour and this will be split between everyone taking class. Generally this runs about $4 to $8 each depending on how many people turn up. Beginners and occasional drop-ins are welcome.
